Henan Provincial Party Secretary Lou Yangsheng and His Team Visited Our Company for Research and Guidance

On Feb. 23, Henan Provincial Party Secretary Lou Yangsheng and his team visited Henan Genuine Biotech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Genuine Biotech") for research and guidance. Secretary Lou Yangsheng and his team went deep into the front line and conducted research on the scientific and technological innovation, R&D progress, manufacture and commercialization of Genuine Biotech, and listened to the work report. Secretary Lou Yangsheng fully affirmed the 10 years of entrepreneurial perseverance by Genuine Biotech, and highly praised the company's pragmatic and scientific attitude in terms of research. The COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the world and caused a lot of attention. Secretary Lou Yangsheng is very concerned about the clinical progress of the oral small-molecule drug for COVID-19 independently developed by Genuine Biotech and hopes that the drug can be approved as soon as possible to benefit patients worldwide.

Under the care, help, and support of Henan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government and Pingdingshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Genuine Biotech has achieved milestones in innovative research and development. Azvudine, the world's first dual-target, anti-HIV, class 1 new drug, has won the China Patent Golden Award. It was formally approved for marketing last year, achieving the breakthrough of zero class 1 new drug approved for marketing in Henan Province. Last October, Azvudine was presented as one of the scientific and technological achievements in the National "13th Five-Year Plan" Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement Exhibition. On account of excellent antiviral efficacy, the oral small-molecule drug for COVID-19 independently developed by our company has been included in the first line of oral anti-COVID-19 drugs in China. The excellent R&D achievements of Genuine Biotech have won great attention from Henan provincial government. In the opening ceremony for the first batch of provincial industrial research institutes and pilot bases in Henan Province in Oct. 2021, Henan Modern Pharmaceutical Industry Research Institute has officially landed in Genuine Biotech, which is planned to be developed into a modern pharmaceutical innovation practice base in Henan Province within 3 years.
